How Families Can Participate?

  • This event is open to all HAMILTON parents/guardians and families. We encourage family members to walk the route with their child. There is also the option to join HAT at Bitter Pops—The official Hamilton Parent/Family cheering station. Strollers and younger siblings are welcome! Please no pets!

  • When you arrive, please remain off the field area. Additional space will be blocked off for families outside the field to accommodate families.

  • Classes will have identifying signs and our emcee will announce when each class is beginning the route. As classes leave the field to begin the walk, you may then join your student. Please stay off the sidewalk until your child’s class is called. Students must remain with their class at all times.

What is Walkathon

Walkathon is a vibrant event filled with community walks and celebration! It’s a day to affirm our collective efforts and witness the community coming together to reach our fundraising goals.

While Walkathon is a fundraising event, it is also an important opportunity for us to cultivate and celebrate the Hamilton Community! ALL Hamilton students will participate in the fun of the Walkathon Kickoff and Walkathon regardless of how much funds, if any, they raise. No student or their family is required to fundraise in order to participate in this event.
